Fire Exit Signs – Legislation Reinforcement

As a leading supplier of fire exit signs, Print 2 Logistics have been requested to advise our customers of the following regarding fire exit signage. It has come to notice that many business premises are using a “FIRE EXIT DOWN” arrow sign above doorways. The fire exit down signs are strictly for use on or leading to stairwells, indicating a downward direction. These should be replaced by a “FIRE EXIT UP” arrow sign, indication a forward direction. For this reason, we have withdrawn our disabled exit down signs from sale with immediate effect. Although these may occasionally be legitimately required, the product seems to add unnecessary confusion. If you have wrongly purchase a disabled exit down sign from Print 2 Logistics, please return it for a free replacement.
